On May 26, Gao Li, assistant vice president of Assumption University of Thailand, and his group visited CDTC for exchanges and signed a cooperation agreement on the joint construction of an industrial college with the school. Sun Rui, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president, and related teachers in charge of the Industry-Education Exchange Office and the School of Construction and Environment attended the signing ceremony.
Sun Rui welcomed the visit of the delegation of Assumption University of Thailand and introduced the overall situation of the school to the guests. He emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the Central Conference on Peripheral Work that China shall focus on building up a community of shared future for the surrounding areas and strive to create a new platform with Asian countries. The cooperation between the two schools to jointly build an industrial college is an important measure for the school to implement the CPC's decision to build a community of shared future for the surrounding areas. The school attaches great importance to international cooperation in vocational education and hopes to deepen cooperation and enhance capabilities in resource sharing, teacher-student exchanges, and industry-education integration through the platform of the industrial college.

Gao Li and Sun Rui signed a cooperation agreement on the co-construction of industrial colleges on behalf of the each side. After the signing ceremony, the delegation of Assumption University of Thailand, accompanied by Qin Chaozhao, dean of the School of Construction and Environment, and Xian Jinhong, secretary of the Party Branch, visited the school's Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory for Digital Protection and Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Weaving and Embroidery Skills.
