On 11 June, the EducationPlus 2025 (Sichuan) International VET Conference and Expo on Industry-Education Integration (hereinafter referred to as the Expo) opened in Chengdu. Sichuan Education Foreign Exchange Centre, Nanjing Stuttgart Joint Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Shandong Province Industry-Education Integration Comprehensive Service Platform are co-organizers. Under the theme of ‘Developing New Productivity and Enabling Internationalisation of Education’, this year's Expo focuses on presenting the latest achievements in the fields of vocational education and industry-education integration both at home and abroad through various forms such as academic symposiums, international exhibitions, innovation competitions, teacher training and enterprise training, etc. It aims to strengthen international cooperation and exchange of vocational education and promote the modernisation and development of vocational education. As one of the exhibiting institutions, our university made careful preparations to participate in this conference, and set up a booth before the conference to display the achievements made by our university in talent cultivation, industry-teaching integration and international exchange in recent years, which fully demonstrated the effectiveness of industry-teaching integration and the characteristics of our university's international exchange work.
The fair brought together more than 300 enterprises and institutions, representatives of many middle and high vocational colleges and universities in the province, and representatives of educational institutions and enterprises from Germany, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hungary and other countries to participate in the event. By participating in the conference, the school further enhanced its international influence and learnt from the excellent experiences and practices of its peers in the field of internationalisation of vocational education (‘vocational education going to the sea’).
