From June 30 to July 4, a delegation from Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU), Thailand, visited our school to discuss potential collaboration in international education. The delegation included Professor Jakrapan Wongpa, Assistant to the President; Associate Professor Chaiyathawat Boonyong, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology; and program representatives Pornpimon Chaisaeng (Electrical Engineering) and Kornpaphop Ruttanawijit (Energy Technology). The visit aimed to promote joint top-up degree programs and mutual exchange of students and faculty.

On July 1 and 2, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with our academic representatives. Dr. Ding Tao, Dean of the School of Telecommunications and the Industry-Academia Institute for Power Transmission and Distribution Equipment Manufacturing; Mr. Li Zhongbing, Head of the Electrical Automation Technology program; and Mr. Cai Wei, Head of the New Energy Vehicle program at the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, met with the RBRU delegation. Both sides reached a preliminary agreement on launching a 2+2 joint bachelor’s program.

On July 3, the delegation toured key facilities on campus, including the Fashion School’s practical training base, the Schneider Electric Green and Low-Carbon Technology Application Center, and the Key Laboratory for the Digital Preservation and Inheritance of Sichuan Embroidery, an intangible cultural heritage initiative of Sichuan Province.

This visit has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between our institution and RBRU, fostering deeper academic exchange and joint talent development.
